Disney moves Brave back a week + Universal sets Ted for July 2012

Disney has moved the release date of the Pixar film Brave from June 15, 2012 to June 22, 2012. The only other big release currently slated for that date is the horror thriller “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” which naturally wouldn’t affect the film’s potential box office — given the extreme, to say the least, difference between the two films.

In other release schedule news, Universal has set Seth MacFarlane’s directorial debut Ted for release on July 13, 2012. The only other big release slated on that date is the Fox animated feature “Ice Age: Continental Drift”.
