Buried within an article on Disney/Pixar, Variety reports that Disney will show two Toy Story-based shorts. We’ve known about the first one for a while — Toy Story Hawaiian Vacation — but news of a second one is new. Here’s the relevant excerpt from the Variety article:
“Toy Story” is also getting its own “Cars Toons”-like shorts. First is “Toy Story Hawaiian Vacation,” to bow in front of “Cars 2.” A second will unspool in front of the upcoming “Muppets” movie.
Cars 2 is scheduled to hit conventional and 3D theaters on June 24, 2011.
