Piers Morgan Tonight premiere draws 2.099M viewers

The premiere of Piers Morgan Tonight on CNN last night — which featured an interview with Oprah Winfrey — drew 2.099 million viewers with 521,000 viewers within the A25-54 demo. Both figures are more than 200% better than CNN’s Q4 average.

Although the numbers were high, the program was still second place to Hannity on FOX News, which drew 2.365M viewers / 600,000 A25-54. But it did beat MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show (1.112M viewers / 342,000 A25-54)..

CNN “Piers Morgan Tonight” – 2.099 million total viewers/521k adults 25-54

This represents a +219% increase compared to CNN’s 4th quarter average in total viewers (657k) and +206% more among adults 25-54 (170k)

FNC “Hannity” – 2.365 million total viewers/600k adults 25-54

MSNBC “The Rachel Maddow Show” – 1.112 total viewers/342k adults 25-54
