Speaking today at the Television Critics Association press tour for his new series “Harry’s Law”, David E. Kelley took some time to discuss his Wonder Woman project, commenting on recent news that all the broadcast networks had passed on it.
Kelley stated that he was optimistic the project would eventually see the light of day and blamed bad timing on the networks passing of the project:
“The bottom line is I had a lot of fun writing it and we’re still optimistic that we’re going to do it. We’ve got a script that Warners and DC are very excited about.”
“It’s a huge project and we just sort of rolled it out last week, so it was a bit much to chew off for this next season.” Still, Kelley said, “I think everybody is confident that we’re gonna see it.”
