Fox has greenlit a pilot for executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci’s adaptation of the graphic novel Locke and Key. The project was given a series commitment from the network in August (see related story), but the greenlight means a pilot will be shot:
Hourlong is being adapted by scribe Josh Friedman, who created “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” for Fox.
The original “Locke and Key” graphic novel series is created and written by Joe Hill, Stephen King’s son, who has created a world about brothers who live in a mysterious New England mansion. Gabriel Rodriguez handles the art.
