Moviehole is reporting that Sony has sent out a casting call looking for young actors to play the role of a Young Peter Parker and for the role of Billy Connors, the son of Dr. Curt Connors (whom Rhys Ifans will reportedly star as–see related stories here and here) in Marc Webb’s 3D Spider-Man reboot:
Sony want a dark-haired Caucasian boy to play actor Peter Parker at age 4 to 6 years old. Ideally, the boy should look a little like Andrew Garfield, the new master of the web…er, webmaster… er, Spider-man.
In addition, the studio’s on the hunt for an actor to play Billy Connors, the son of Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans, announced earlier this week). Applicants need be between 8 and 11 years old.
