NBC has canceled the legal drama Outlaw [via The Ausiello Files | EW]:
NBC has officially pulled the plug on Jimmy Smits’ struggling rookie procedural Outlaw. The Friday-night legal drama, which was already on a production hiatus, will be replaced by a second hour of Dateline. The final four episodes will air Saturdays at 8 pm beginning this week.
The show hit another series-low on Friday, drawing 4.096M viewers, a 0.9/3 A18-49 rating/share and a 2.8/5 HH rating/share.
Through four episodes, the show averaged just 6.097M viewers, a 1.3/5 A18-49 rating/share and a 4.0/7 HH rating/share.
