It’s not an episode order, much less a back-nine, but The CW is showing some confidence towards One Tree Hill and Hellcats, ordering up six additional scripts for each show (potentially bringing their season orders to 19).
One Tree Hill (The CW – Tuesday, 8:00PM) has aired two episodes thus far this season, drawing an average audience of 2.001 million viewers, a 1.0/4 A18-49 rating and a 1.3/2 HH rating/share. That’s down 10% among viewers, 9% in A18-49 rating and 7% in HH rating over the same frame last season (2.216M / 1.1 A18-49 rating / 1.4 HH rating).
Hellcats (The CW – Wednesday, 9:00PM), meanwhile debuted with solid numbers back on September 8 (3.017M viewers / 1.2/4 A18-49 rating/share / 1.9/3 HH rating/share), but has declined the following two weeks, resulting in a 3-episode average of 2.656 million viewers, a 1.1/3 A18-49 rating/share and a 1.6/3 HH rating/share.
