Paramount has hired screenwriter Anthony Peckham (“Sherlock Holmes”, “Invictus”) to script the studio’s upcoming Jack Ryan spy thriller, based on the popular book series from author Tom Clancy.
Chris Pine (“Star Trek”) is attached to star in the project as Ryan, with Jack Bender and Lorenzo di Bonaventura attached to direct and produce, respectively.
Paramount hopes to begin shooting later this year or early 201.
