TNT is renewing freshman drama Memphis Beat for a second season. The show performed modestly well for the network, especially among viewers where it averaged 3.63 million for the season (10 episodes) and household rating/share (2.4/4). Its A18-49 rating wasn’t very strong, however, with a 0.8/3 rating/share average (all ratings are live+SD).
The season finale last Tuesday drew a 2.6/5 HH rating/share, 3.86M viewers and a 0.9/3 A18-49 rating. Compared to what the show premiered with — 2.7/5, 4.33M, 1.1/3 — the finale was a decline of 4, 11 and 18 percent, respectively from the premiere.
