Superhero Hype reports that shooting on Joss Whedon’s The Avengers will get underway in February 2011.
Starring Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark / Iron Man); Clark Gregg (Agent Phil Coulson); Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow); Chris Hemsworth (Thor); Chris Evans (Steve Rogers / Captain America); Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton / Hawkeye) and Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner / The Incredible Hulk, The Avengers is scheduled to hit theaters on May 4, 2012.
