Kara DioGuardi is reportedly out as judge on American Idol, with TMZ reporting that she has been fired. The site confirms last night’s report that Jennifer Lopez will replace Ellen DeGeneres and that an offer has gone out to Steven Tyler to replace Simon Cowell.
With Randy Jackson remaining in place, the the upcoming 10th season of the show will revert back to its original 3-panel judging system.
Fox is expected to make their plans official next Friday during their TCA Summer Press Tour panel.
