DirecTV has reached a deal with Sony Pictures Television to acquire the recently canceled FX series Damages.
The company picked the show up for two additional seasons, each consisting of 10 episodes, and will begin airing them in 2011 on the DirecTV-exclusive station The 101 Network.
The first reports of a possible Sony / DirecTV partnership on Damages surfaced in a report at EW this past April.
