Saïd Taghmaoui (“G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra”) has been cast in Marcus Nispel’s Conan:
Taghmaoui is playing a leader of thieves who is saved by Conan (Jason Momoa) and later offers him aid. Lang is a ruler in search of a queen whose blood will bring life to the demonic minions of a long-lost god.
Conan is scheduled to begin shooting later this week in Bulgaria. In addition to the lead star Jason Momoa, Taghmaoui is joined by Stephen Lang who was recently cast as the main villain and possibly Ron Perlman, who is in negotiations to play Conan’s dad Corin (a role originally set to go to Mickey Rourke, but Rourke went on to take War of the Gods after discussions fell apart).
