Disney Channel has confirmed that they are developing a Tron animated series to follow the upcoming theatrical release of Tron Legacy. The announcement was made Tuesday night as part of Disney’s upfront presentation. In addition to the animated series, Disney is playing another project, a 10-part Tron micro-series that will premiere in the fall of 2011 on Disney XD.
