Lionsgate has closed a deal for the rights to the Taylor Lautner-attached thriller Abduction. The pickup follows a week-long bidding war over Shawn Christensen’s spec script. Abduction is based on a young man who discovers his own baby picture on a missing persons website.
Lautner can next be seen in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse this June 30th. He’s also committed to two more films in the franchise and recently signed a deal to star in Universal’s Stretch Armstrong as well as being attached to Mattel’s adaptation of its Max Steel spy franchise.
