TNT’s telecast of the 2010 NBA All-Star Game drew 6.85 million viewers, down 10% from the year prior(7.62 million viewers). Considering game aired against NBA’s highly rated coverage of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games (26.37 million viewers), this seems like a fairly solid hold.
As noted during the telecast, the game — which was held at the Cowboys Stadium in Dallas — drew a Basketball attendance record of 108,113. Meanwhile, TNT’s presentation of the All-Star Saturday night festivities drew 5.5 million viewers (down 16% from the year prior — 6.55 million viewers).
