Tuesday Box Office (Feb. 16, 2010): Valentine’s Day Stays Ahead ($2.69M), Battle for 2nd with Percy Jackson ($1.91M), The Wolfman ($1.87M) and Avatar ($1.84M)

Valentine’s Day was able to hold onto first place yesterday with $2.686 million ($65.821 million domestic cume), but the competition was close, with second place going to Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief with a $1.907 million ($40.569 million domestic cume).

‘Percy Jackson’ narrowly beat out The Wolfman ($1.869 million / $37.424 million domestic cume) while Avatar continues to do incredible box office business and stayed a strong fourth with $1.836 million ($668.225 million domestic cume).  Head on over the jump to see the daily chart.
