Avatar grossed $2.689 million domestically on Tuesday, pushing its domestic cume to $601.142 million which was enough to make it the new #1 all-time highest grossing film domestically (clearing Titanic‘s $600.788 million). Overseas the film is at $1.474 billion which puts it at a dominant $2.075 billion worldwide. Over the course of the last week (Wednesday-Tuesday), Avatar grossed $197 million worldwide.
