Fox in Early Talks for Avatar Sequel + Avatar DVD/Blu-ray Could Be Out By June

Miss America 2010 Draws 4.5M Viewers; Best Performance for the Pageant in Cable

TLC’s telecast of the Miss America 2010 beauty pageant on Saturday night drew 4.5 million viewers, an improvement of 1 million viewers or 29% over last year’s telecast and a record showing for the beauty pageant on cable.

With its Monday take of $2.701 million, Avatar moves to $598.453 million domestically and is now within just $2.335 million of Titanic’s domestic all-time record of $600.788 million. Avatar will become the new all-time domestic record holder sometime tonight. Overseas the film is at $1.447 billion for a worldwide cume of $2.045 billion.
