THR’s Heat Vision Blog has confirmed a scoop by NY Mag’s Vulture Blog that Flight of the Conchords co-creator James Bobin being offered the job to direct Disney’s upcoming Muppets movie.
According to Vulture, Bobin had to decide between directing the Muppets for Disney or a Judd Apatow comedy titled Bridesmaids for Universal Pictures. Heat Vision says that Bobin made the decision to direct the Muppets movie late Thursday night.
