Last month it was reported that Paul W.S. Anderson’s Resident Evil: Afterlife would have to be pushed back into 2011 to allow for more time in post-production for 3D. The report was denied at first by actress Milla Jovovich, but after a short time it was confirmed that the film had indeed been pushed back.
Well, now it appears as if the film is back on track for a 2010 release. Shock Till You Drop is reporting that Anderson won’t be needing the extra time for the FX and 3D after all, and that the film is back on track for a 2010 release of September 10, 2010 release date (the film’s previous release was scheduled for August 27, 2010,however two of the previous three films in the franchise were released in September).
