Monday night’s 3-hour telecast of TNA Impact on Spike averaged a record 2.2 million viewers. That’s 16% ahead of the previous viewing record set in April 2008 (1.9 million viewers). The first hour of the program averaged 2.5 million viewers.
However, USA Network’s WWE Monday Night Raw is still clear and away the champion. The program drew an average of 5.5 million viewers from 9:00-11:00 p.m., nearly three times the audience of the 2 million viewers TNA Impact! averaged during that same time period.
On a related note, William Shatner will guest-host WWE Monday Night Raw on February 1, 2010 in Nashville.
