Disney has halted development on Touchstone Pictures’ Wild Hogs 2: Bachelor Ride. The proposed sequel to the 2007 hit was scheduled to start production next Summer with Walt Becker back as director and all the original cast — John Travolta, Tim Allen, Martin Lawrence and William H. Macy — back to reprise their respective roles.
Wild Hogs was released in March 2007 and grossed a combined $253.6 million worldwide ($168.3 million of which came domestically).
The scrapping marks the third high-profile film that Disney has halted since Rich Ross took over as head of studio.
