Syfy has ordered additional seasons of Stargate Universe (which just aired its midseason finale and will return with new episodes in April) and Sanctuary.
Season two of Stargate Universe will debut next fall, along with the third season of Sanctuary.
Both shows have already started production on their next seasons in Vancouver and both orders from Syfy are for 20-episode seasons.

The Stargate franchise is a big property overseas, but ratings for this latest installment haven’t been very good. The show recently hit a series low with just 1.34 million viewers and a 0.5 A18-49 rating for the midseason finale. Overall, the 10 episode/nine-week half-season drew an average audience of 1.95 million viewers (and a 1.2 HH national rating / 1.5 HH coverage rating) and a 0.8 A18-49 rating:
Including Live + 7 day numbers, the show is averaging about 2.6 million viewers (not including the 12/4 episode) and a 2.0 HH coverage rating (numbers which likely contributed greatly to Syfy picking the show up for another season):
Lead-out Sanctuary will air its mid-season finale next Friday. Thus far this season, the show has averaged 1.60 million viewers (and a 1.0 HH rating) and a 0.5 A18-49 rating through eight episodes (not including the numbers from the 12/11 episode).
Like Stargate Universe, Sanctuary has performed a good deal better with the Live + 7 Day numbers, where it has averaged about 2.1 million viewers (not including the 12/4-12/11 episodes).
