FX’s hit drama Sons of Anarchy continues to light up the cable TV ratings with last week’s episode drawing 2.503 million adults 18-49 (#1 for the week among all scripted shows on cable).
The series also fared well among adults 18-34 (1.31 million), which was good enough for second place on the week among scripted shows — sixth overall — behind the Steelers/Broncos Monday Night Football matchup on ESPN (4.028 million), South Park on Comedy Central (1.47 million), The Hills on MTV (1.407 million), Sportscenter on ESPN (1.39 million) and UFC:105 on Spike (1.364 million).

Oprah Winfrey’s interview with the former Republican vice presidential nominee, Sarah Palin lifted her daytime show to its best rating in two years with an 8.7/13 household rating/share.

20th Century Fox has released a new international movie trailer for director Chris Columbus’ Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief. Watch the trailer after the jump.

The son of Poseidon travels the Earth with the hopes of quelling a battle of the gods in this adaptation of the first book in Rick Riordan’s best-selling children’s book series. Veteran director Chris Columbus (Home Alone, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone) directs from his own script with co-writer Craig Titley. 3:10 to Yuma’s Logan Lerman toplines a godlike cast that includes Uma Thurman, Pierce Brosnan, and Sean Bean.
