The ABC series V is getting another showrunner. THR reports that Chuck executive producer Scott Rosenbaum is taking the reins of the program as executive producer/showrunner.
Although V premiered to strong numbers last night (14.3 million viewers and a 5.2 A18-49 rating–the highest A18-49 for a new series this season), behind-the-scenes it’s been a different story. Production was actually shut down in late August for “creative hiatus” after episodes two and three were shot. That resulted in a change of showrunner from Jeff Bell, who joined in June, to executive producer Scott Peters (who wrote the pilot). Bell is expected to depart.
V is scheduled to air three more episodes through November, before going on hiatus until March. ABC has ordered 13 episodes (production resumes this January).
V airs Tuesday’s at 8:00 p.m. on ABC.
