CBS and ABC shared the winner’s circle last night, with ABC finishing in first among adults 18-49 and CBS taking the overall viewership crown, led by the night’s most-watched program CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. It’s official. Warner Bros. confirmed today that they are pulling production of Green Lantern out of Australia due to the falling U.S. dollar.
The studio said that “the current global economic situation, including fluctuations in currency valuation and overall costs,” forced the decision, in a statement issued through agency Screen NSW.

Past Life has received a cut in its episode order. The midseason drama was initially picked up for 13 episodes, but Fox confirmed Wednesday that it had cut the order down to just seven episodes, blaming the decision on its limited amount of time slots available to them:

Big Love fans, mark your calendars. HBO has announced that the upcoming fourth season, which is currently in production, will premiere on January 10, 2010, according to Variety. Sissy Spacek is a new addition to the case this season and her character arc will begin in the show’s third episode.
