CBS has handed out full-season (back-nine pickup/22 episodes) pickups to The Good Wife and NCIS: Los Angeles. Although both shows took a bit of a dip in their respective third weeks, they both continue to perform strongly for the network, with NCIS: LA currently the highest-rated freshman series with an average audience of 17.48 million viewers (a 10.7/16 HH rating/share) and a 4.0/10 A18-49 rating/share leading out of NCIS on Tuesday’s at 9:00 p.m.
The Good Wife has done an admirable job leading out of NCIS: Los Angeles (retention rates are 85% among households, 78% among viewers and 78% among adults 18-49) and is the second highest-rated series of the new season (among households and viewers). Overall, The Good Wife has averaged a 9.1/16 HH rating/share, 13.70 million viewers and a 3.1/8 A18-49 rating/share.
