Good news for fans of Californication, Flashpoint, The Real Housewives of New Jersey and Top Chef. All four shows have been renewed for next season.
- Showtime announced a fourth season renewal of Californication after only one airing. The third season premiere of the show drew a series record 821,000 viewers, which was up 57 percent over the season two premiere. [Facebook]
- The Canadian-based drama Flashpoint had already been picked up by Canada’s CTV, but on Monday CBS placed an order for 13 episodes set to begin airing on CBS this winter. [THR]
- Bravo announced on Tuesday that their hit reality series The Real Housewives of New Jersey, which averaged 2.55 million viewers last spring and became the highest-rated of the ‘Real Housewives’ franchise, will return in 2010 with new episodes. [Bravo]
- And Bravo also announced that Top Chef will be returning for a seventh season in 2010. Casting calls for the show will take place from October 18th through November 15th in seven cities: San Francisco, Miami, Chicago, Washington, New York, Dallas and Los Angeles. [Bravo]
