The fifth episode of the recently renewed Syfy series Warehouse 13 drew 4.3 million viewers (when including an additional 985,000 DVR viewers). That makes the episode the network’s most-watched series telecast in the history of the network. Check out the complete press release after the jump.

This is really something. Sunday’s episode of True Blood hit another series high, drawing an impressive 5.33 million viewers (up 20% from last week’s then-series high 4.46 million viewers).
Even more impressive — given the relatively low penetration level of HBO — is that the show was #3 across all of cable last week.

The blaxploitation spoof Black Dynamite will have a platform release starting on October 16th. The film — co-written by stars Michael Jai White and Byron Minns and Scott Sanders — premiered at Sundance’s Midnight section this year and was purchased by Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group. Disney has released a new behind-the-scenes featurette for The Princess and the Frog, the studio’s upcoming hand-drawn animated feature film. The featurette is titled “Conjuring the Villain” and comes courtesy the website CartoonBrew. Watch it after the jump.

Columbia Pictures has hired writers Adam Fierro and Glen Mazzara to write a sequel to the Will Smith superhero movie Hancock.

The teaser trailer for director Christopher Nolan’s upcoming sci-fi action film Inception has been released online. The trailer was attached to select prints of Inglourious Basterds last Friday. Check out the trailer after the jump.
