Although it was down by 10% from last week’s numbers among adults 18-49, a two-hour edition of So You Think You Can Dance on Fox last night held off the competition and garnered Fox a first place sweep across all three main categories: Households, Viewers and Adults 18-49.

Syfy is re-teaming with director/producer Bryan Singer (The Triangle) who with producers Andrew Deane and Keith Addisto will develop an as-yet-untitled six-hour miniseries dealing with the 2012 prophecies surrounding the Mayan calendar. Universal Pictures has officially announced that Ridley Scott is developing a film based on Aldous Huxley’s 1931 novel Brave New World. Scott may direct the project and Leonardo DiCaprio is on board to produce (and perhaps star). A lot of that will depend on the script, which will be written by Farhad Safinia (Apocalypto).

DreamWorks Pictures has made available the trailer for Peter Jackson’s The Lovely Bones, based on the best-selling novel by Alice Sebold about a 14-year-old girl who was murdered but is watching over her family, and her killer, from heaven. Watch the trailer after the jump.
The Lovely Bones hits theaters on December 11, 2009.

Columbia Pictures has released a new red band movie trailer for Ruben Fleischer upcoming Zombieland. This is the same red band trailer that was showcased at Comic-Con two weekends ago and is the final version of the recently leaked version that showed up on YouTube a few days back.
