USA Network is on a roll this summer. Having just recently renewed two of its hit programs (Burn Notice and freshman drama Royal Pains) the network has renewed yet another, announcing that In Plain Sight will be returning for a third season.
Like both Burn Notice and Royal Pains, In Plain Sight was given a 16-episode order. The only possible negative bit of news is that the show’s two executive producers, creator David Maples and Paul Stupin, will remain on only as consultants, with USA deciding to bring on a new executive producer to give the series “a little more narrative drive.”
Meanwhile, the network is also close to finalizing a deal for a ninth season of Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
