Broadcast TV Ratings for Tuesday, July 28, 2009

America’s Got Talent kept NBC ahead of the pack among households and viewers last night, but week two of Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen kept the network ahead of the rest among adults 18-49 (although the network saw a weak debut for the new series More to Love).

Even though the 10pm The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose was off more than 20% over last year’s edition (full details/comparisons after the jump) you have to keep in mind that last season the show most more buzz-worthy and the special aired out of the season finale.  Despite that, the episode still gave the network an easy time period win (among adults 18-49: more than 27% ahead of its nearest competition).

Full ratings and breakdown’s, including week-to-week comparisons, etc., follow after the jump.

Bryce Dallas Howard to Replace Rachelle Lefevre in ‘Eclipse’ [UPDATE: Lefevre Responds]

brycedallashoward-072909UPDATE: Rachelle Lefevre has issued a statement saying she “was stunned by Summit’s decision to recast the role of Victoria for ‘Eclipse.’ I was fully committed to the ‘Twilight’ saga, and to the portrayal of Victoria. I turned down several other film opportunities and, in accordance with my contractual rights, accepted only roles that would involve very short shooting schedules.”

Summit in turn released their own press release disputing Lefevre.  Check out both releases in full after the jump.

Original article follows below

Bryce Dallas Howard (Terminator Salvation) has signed on to play Victoria in Summit Entertainment’s The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, replacing actress Rachelle Lefevre who had played the role in the prior two films.  Summit said the decision was made due to scheduling conflicts:

“We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise,” Erik Feig, Summit’s President of Worldwide Production and Acquisitions, said in a statement to Access Hollywood. “Rachelle brought ‘Victoria’ to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role.”

‘Eclipse’ begins filming in Vancouver, Canada this August and hits theaters on June 30, 2010. Continue reading Bryce Dallas Howard to Replace Rachelle Lefevre in ‘Eclipse’ [UPDATE: Lefevre Responds]
