Kurt Russell is in talks with MGM to star in the studio’s upcoming remake of Red Dawn. Set for release next year, the film stars Chris Hemsworth, Josh Peck and Adrianne Palicki and will be directed by Dan Bradley.
Red Dawn is scheduled to hit theaters on September 24, 2010.
Director Lee Unkrich confirmed rumors that Michael Keaton will be voicing Ken in Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story 3. Additionally, Pixar’s John Lasseter announced that “the entire voice cast” for Toy Story 3 will be returning, including Barbie who will be back “in a much larger role alongside Ken.”

During Comic-Con 2008, Disney surprised those in attendance with a special presentation of a trailer for the then untitled Tron sequel (now called Tron Legacy). The footage was shot by director Joseph Kosinski as a test of sorts to prove to Disney he had the correct vision to take on the project. It was shown again today at Comic-Con 2009 and has now been released online, in HD quality, for anyone to watch. Check it out after the jump.
