Nickelodeon Orders Kung Fu Panda Series

Nickelodeon has ordered Kung Fu Panda: The Series, a new CG-animated comedy based on 2008’s hit film.  The network ordered 26 episodes of the series.

All My Children Leads Daytime Emmy Awards

ABC soap All My Children received 19 nominations to lead all programs for the upcoming Daytime Emmy Awards.  In terms of networks, however, it was PBS who was ahead with 56 nominations, six more than ABC.  CBS followed with 30 and then NBC with 20.

StudioCanal Rebooting Cliffhanger

StudioCanal has announced that they’re teaming with Neal Mortiz’s L.A.-based Original Films to reboot the 1993 Sylvester Stallone starrer Cliffhanger: “Just as they rebooted ‘Star Trek,’ we’re going to do the same with ‘Cliffhanger,’ ” said Moritz.
