Fox must be incredibly pleased with what they’ve seen so far of the yet-to-air Family Guy spinoff Cleveland, because the network has awarded the series with a second season renewal. The new 13-episode order brings the total order for the animated comedy too 35 episodes, pretty astonishing when you consider that it’s yet to have aired.
Cleveland, from Family Guy co-creators/executive producers Seth MacFarlane, Rich Appel and Mike Henry, was originally scheduled to premiere this spring, but was pushed back by the network to this fall 2009. The additional 13-episode pickup is targeted for premiere in fall 2010.
