Here are some of the latest cast additions in the world of film and TV:
Maria Bello and Craig T. Nelson have joined The Company Men. The two join Ben Affleck, Kevin Costner and Tommy Lee Jones in the John Wells-written/directed indepedently financed drama. [Variety]

Potentially great news for Chuck fans. Nikki Finke of Deadline Hollywood Daily is reporting that Chuck looks like a safe bet for renewal at NBC. Here’s what one of her sources passes along:

MTV has ordered 80 episodes of the dating series Parental Control. The order will take the show through its sixth season, making it MTV’s longest running dating show.
The series premiered on the network in 2006.

Another 80’s film is being remade. Universal Pictures has announced that they are remaking the 1983 David Cronenberg-directed thriller Videodrome. The studio has tapped Ehren Kruger to write the script and produce with partner Daniel Bobker.
At the moment Cronenberg has no involvement in the film.

Since a DVD-quality workprint of X-Men Origins: Wolverine leaked onto the internet last month, 20th Century Fox has maintained that the final version would be different. Turns out they weren’t being completely honest.
