The Italian kid-focused Giffoni Film Festival will be host to screenings of 20th Century Fox’s Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs as well as Disney’s G-Force.
Giffoni founder and artistic director Claudio Gubitosi hoping for as many as six other high-profile premieres (they’re hoping to screen Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince). Films will be judged by 2,800 jurors aged 3-17 from more than 40 countries. The lineup will be announced on July 1st, while the event will run from July 12-25th.
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs hits theaters on July 1, 2009. G-Force hits theaters on July 24, 2009.
