Universal has announced that Sacha Baron Cohen’s Borat follow-up Bruno has been given an R-Rating by the MPAA. You may remember that the film was initially given an NC-17 rating by the board (see related story).

CBS has renewed The Amazing Race, slating the hit reality series to return for its 15th cycle this fall. The announcement was made by host Phil Koeghan on his Twitter site.
The Amazing Race has done well this season, averaging 10.5 million viewers and a 3.4/8 rating/share among adults 18-49 on Sunday nights.

Warner Bros’ DC Comics big-budget feature film Green Lantern will be made at Fox Studios Australia in Sydney. That according to New South Wales Premiere Nathan Rees, who made the announcement today.
THR further reports that the budget for the Martin Campbell-helmed film will be $150 million.

Principal photography on Summit Entertainment’s The Twilight Saga’s New Moon has begun. The announcement was made by Erik Feig, Summit Entertainment’s President of Production. The full press release is included after the jump.

Variety is reporting that a settlement has been reached in Mortiz Borman’s lawsuit against two of his fellow Terminator Salvation producers and Halcyon Co. According to the trade, the parties released a joint statement saying that they reached an “amicable” resolution to the suit, which has been dismissed.
Terminator Salvation hits theaters on May 21, 2009.
