Sad news if it turns out to be true — although it wouldn’t be unexpected — but a source close to Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles tells EW that the show is “done”, adding “”Everyone has pretty much known for a couple of weeks, ” with another network insider adding: “Consider it canceled.”
The positive bit of news is that Fox hasn’t officially canceled the show, insisting that they “will be announcing [their] fall schedule on May 18th.
Moved from Monday to Friday nights for the show’s back-nine episodes this season, ‘TSCC’ just couldn’t find an audience, averaging only a 2.2/4 HH rating/share, 3.54 million viewers and a 1.3/4 A18-49 rating/share. That’s a far cry from the still-low, but much more respectable performance on Monday night for the show’s first 13 episodes [3.3/5 HH rating/share (-33%), 5.39 million viewers (-34%) and a 2.1/5 A18-49/share (-38%)].
