Bruno International Red-Band Trailer + New Photo

Universal Pictures has debuted the international Red-Band trailer for Sacha Baron Cohen’s Bruno at MySpace. The film, which hits theaters on July 10, 2009, stars Cohen as Bruno, an Austrian supermodel model (previously seen on Cohen’s Da Ali G Show).

Timetable for 67th Golden Globes Announced

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has announced the timetable  for The 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards.  The Awards telecast will be broadcast in high-definition on Sunday, January 17, 2010 from 8:00-11:00pm ET (5:00-8:00pm PT) live from The Beverly Hilton on NBC.  The full press release follows after the jump.

Inglourious Basterds Premiering at Cannes

Quentin Tarantino has been invited to enter his WWII epic Inglourious Basterds in competition at the Cannes Film Festival, and the director has accepted the offer.

The film, starring Brad Pitt who leads a band of Jewish-American soliders whose mission it is to take down a group of Nazis, hits theaters on August 21, 2009.

Ed Schultz Gets MSNBC Show

Ed Schultz, host of the nationally syndicated radio talk show The Ed Shultz Show, has been selected by MSNBC to host a new show on the network.  The Ed Show will debut Monday in the 6:00pm ET time slot, taking over for 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

AMC Renews Breaking Bad for Fourth Season

Coming off a Peabody Award win (see related story), and just four episodes into its second season, AMC has awarded the drama Breaking Bad an early third season renewal.

The second season premiere of the show drew 1.7 million viewers, which was up 21% over its first season/series premiere last January.

Ted Nugent Reality Series Coming to CMT

CMT has ordered eight episodes of Runnin’ Wild …From Ted Nugent, a new reality-competition series from the rock star/hunting advocate.  The series will focus on teaching contestants how to survive in the wild, before being chased by Nugent and his 18-year-old son, Rocco.

It will begin running on CMT this August.
