A new viral video featuring a news piece from a 1970 edition of NBS Nightly News, anchored by NBS stalwart Ted Philips, has been released online. The video has a special report from co-anchor Jim Sizemore looking back at 10 years of Dr. Manhattan. Watch the video embedded below.

CNN Tops Cable Networks In Inauguration Ratings UPDATE: Inauguration Draws 37.8 Million

Nielsen reports that from 10am to 5pm ET, an average 37,793,008 tuned into the ceremony, swearing in, speech and coverage of the Inauguration. That’s the second-most ever, slightly below the 41,800,260 who watched Reagan’s nomination in January 1981.

Battlestar Galactica’s Premiere Draws 2.1 Million Viewers

The final episodes of the SCI FI series Battlestar Galactica got off to a solid start on Friday night, with the season 4.5 premiere episode “Sometimes a Great Notion” earning a 1.6 household rating and 2.11 million total viewers.

Academy President Sid Ganis will be accompanied by actor Forest Whitaker to announce the nominations for the 81st Academy Awards on Thursday, January 22nd at 8:30am ET/5:30am PT.
