Though I agree Chef Irvine should have been punished for the lying, people take lying as NO BIG DEAL when IT IS! It’s WRONG AND IT HURTS PEOPLE! But on that note I also wish the Foodnetwork could have figured out some other punishment at the time.It really did hurt when they took him off DI infact I only watch it a couple times to give the other guy a chance but it wasnt the same, it didnt have Chef Irvines paizazz or flair so I am thrilled to hear he’s back, Im glad Chef and the Foodnetwork could work something out!! Welcome back Chef Irvine!!!!

yes do bring back back Robert! He’s a nutball and a goof and is very entertaining to watch. Symon makes me yawn and it isn’t the same.

We don’t care about the scandal we just want to be entertained and Robert did that very well.

I agree with all..Bring Back ROBERT….maybe cut off one of his pinkies as punishment. Simon just does not do it for me on IC and really not on tonights show either. I am going to kill the DVR fir DI and watch something else that is more entertaining….like paint drying.

I agree. I just saw Dinner Impossible with Symon and he’s TERRIBLE. I will no longer watch this show as Symon has no personality.

I was suprised to see a replacement on tonights show, Dinner Impossible. This has been one of my favorite Food Network shows and I have enjoyed watching Robert Irvine complete his impossible tasks. I was very disappointed that he will no longer be the chef for this show. My opinion is the Food Network has made a mistake removing Robert Irvine. It wouldn’t matter who you chose, it’s not the same. Robert Irvine made this show.

Just read that Robert will no longer be doing Dinner Inpossible. I do not see what the fuss is all about, a good percent lie on there resume. The ones that made the decison, can you live in a glass house??? Robert made the show and he was very good as a chef, found out what he had to work with and made out a list of what was being made and always on top of what was done and what had to be finished. Robert contributed a lot to that show. I watched the series for who would become the new Iron Chef, if i was on the panel i would not have voted for Simon. There were a couple of the Chefs that were better than Simon. I’ll watch the first, I have a feeling that Simon isn’t going to make the show that interesting to watch. Also i saw him 2 times on Iron Chef and he wasn’t impressed. I watch at least 95 percent of your shows.

I think everyone needs to give Michael a chance. He’s very personable and will probably be fun to watch in a show where his personality has a bit more chance to shine!

I don’t know what to think of this. I love Dinner Impossible so I wouldn’t want to see it go off the air, but Robert was great. And it’s not like what he did was the worst thing ever.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how Symon does.

Symon is not cut out for DInner Impossible and obviously wasn’t even good as an Iron Chef.

Food Network should’ve kept Robert and made him do some charity challenges and the like.

Sad to see a top rated show go down the tubes, but that’s exactly what’s about to happen.
