Michael Ausiello of TV Guide is reporting that Fox informed cast and crew on Saturday that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles has been renewed for a second season. In nine aired episodes, the series averaged a solid 9.50 million viewers and a 3.9/9 rating/share among adults 18-49.
From TV Guide:
We interrupt your regularly scheduled weekend activities to bring you this urgent public service announcement: She’ll be back!
Although Fox declined comment, multiple sources confirm to me exclusively that Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles has been renewed for a second season.
Though the series never managed to leave up to its incredible strong, though NFL boosted, premiere numbers (18.36M viewers and a 7.7/18 rating/share among adults 18-49), the remaining eight episodes drew consistent and solid ratings and the series showed growth over its final three airings: 8.39M viewers and a 3.4/8 rating/share among adults 18-49. Given its solid compatibility with lead-in Prison Break, it’s renewal was never really in doubt.
