Broadcast TV Ratings for Tuesday, April 8, 2008

Fox’s American Idol and Hell’s Kitchen remained in front of the competition on Tuesday night.

ABC, meanwhile, was a competitive second headlined by Dancing With the Stars, and Boston Legal returned from its nearly two month hiatus strong (+2.73M/37% among viewers and +39% among adults 18-49).

Rounding out the rest of the evening, NBC finished in its usual solid third place with The Biggest Loser, while the return of NCIS on CBS wasn’t enough to keep the network out of fourth place.

Fox finished in first place for the evening with a 10.4/16 household rating/share, 17.85 million viewers and a 7.2/18 rating/share among adults 18-49.
