Broadcast TV Ratings for Wednesday, April 2, 2008

American Idol propelled Fox to yet another Wednesday night victory along with lead-in The Moment of Truth, which also won its timeslot.

CBS, however, was stronger than usual courtesy returning dramas Criminal Minds and CSI: NY, which held consistent from their last newly aired episodes.

Elsewhere on the evening, NBC and ABC (third and fourth respectively) posted consistent numbers, while The CW’s flagship series America’s Next Top Model, although still down by over a million viewers from the year prior, improved by a noteworthy 550,000/16% among viewers and 12% among adults 18-49 as it crossed the 4 million mark.

FOX finished in first place for the evening with a 10.5/17 household rating/share, 17.15 million viewers and a 6.6/18 rating/share among adults 18-49.
