Dave, I hate to burst your bubble but as a long time professional in the entertainment industry, I feel I should at least alert you that you usually will not get a "nay" response from any casting department. Typically, you only get a call back if they are interested in you. If they are not, they simply won't call back or reply in any way.

Sounds harsh? Perhaps...if you don't understand the business but in reality, when casting departments get thousands of auditions and submissions per month...and hundreds of thousands per year, they can't possibly make time to reply to every prospect. Therefore, they limit it to only those they want.

Best advice I could give you is to try again. From everything I've read about Deal Or No Deal, a year is usually the cut off...whuch probably means you didn't make it...but I did also read somwhere that they do accept multiple submissions from one person so long as it's not within less than a year's window of time. So I'd say...send another one...or try a different show :) Sometimes a person is not right for one project but exactly what another project is looking for. In this business, you can never put all of your eggs in one basket.

Dan

P.S. By the way, you should NEVER leave your phone number on a website like this. Especially a press release site which can be viewed by millions. That's just asking to be stalked...espcially if you ever end up lucky and getting on such a show. If you were to become famous...WHOOOOO....T R O U B L E!

5/21/2008

Dear Scott Saint James, Executive Producer, "Deal Or No Deal"

Approximately one year ago I sent in an application and video to appear on "Deal Or No Deal". I have not as yet received a yay or nay regarding being chosed to be a contestent on your show.
I have attempted several times to reach you via telephone calls, e-mails, or faxes.

My purpose of being on your show is simple. I planned to give away the 1,000,000 prize to a special cause. I am an Insulin Dependent Type 2 Diabetic who has suffered from this condition for the last 18 years of my life. I felt that being on this show I could donate the money prize to a get cause. I strongly believe not only for my self but over 110,000,000+ individuals living in the United States today who also suffer from many chronic diseases or illnesses could benifit from the utilization of EMBRYONIC CLEAN STEM CELL LINES. The money prize could meet this need.

I also felt that we both could benifit from my cause in that your show would enjoy great TV ratings and my cause would be announced to your listening audience. Scott, The Time Is Right... The Time Is Now... to alert your listening audience concerning the misconceptions, the lies, the confusions, the misunderstandings about this controversial issue. I believe in the fun portion and serious nature of this cause, it will provide to your audience a serious yet fun show which could be quite entertaining and import a serious message as well.

I can be funny and serious at the same time. Incidently, I look like Howey Mandell and I act like him.

I look forward to you reviewing my video again. Unfortunately, I was not aware of a recent casting opportunity which you had in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ,other wise I would have shown up for the audition.

Please respond to this e-mail to you.

I can be reached anytime at 267-249-4592.

Thank you for your interest in this matter.

P.S. Please review my (8) video/questions I posed on You Tube. When reviewing these videos you will get my message. My User Name Is: DLSAE2007. My password Is: d2007sjc.
