Fox has canceled their freshman comedy The Return of Jezebel James due to poor ratings.  For the time being, the network has slotted repeats of House to fill in for the pulled series.  ‘Jezebel James’ failed to attract an audience from day one, averaging just 3.13M viewers and a 1.1/4 A18-49 rating/share through three aired episodes.

We now have confirmation of the news (related article here) that Prison Break is returning for a fourth season. Co-Executive producer Nick Santora posted the confirmation on his MySpace.com page.  Continue past the jump to read the posting.

“Deal or No Deal” Cleared for Broadcast Syndication March 24, 2008 11:07 pm

NBC Universal has announced that Deal or No Deal has been cleared to begin airing in national syndication this fall.  This new edition of the game show will differ from the series which airs on NBC in that it will be a half-hour in length. The full press release follows after the jump.

CBS Slots Four May Episodes of “The Price Is Right”, Plus “Shark” Returns April 29th March 24, 2008 11:00 pm

CBS has announced that they’ve added four additional episodes of its ‘Price Is Right’ primetime series The Price Is Right Million Dollar Spectacular to the schedule this May.  Originally aired on Friday’s, the show will now air on Wednesday night’s from 8:00-9:00.  The network also announced the return of Shark.  The series will return with a new day and time (Tuesday, April 29 at 9:00 p.m. ET).  Four episodes will air, three in the time period with the season finale airing on May 20th from 10:00-11:00.  An updated schedule follows after the jump.

CBS and ABC shared the top spot on Easter Sunday, with CBS coming out on top among households and ABC ahead among both viewers and adults 18-49.

CBS was strengthened by a one-hour overrun of NCAA Tournament coverage (the nights most-watched program among households and viewers), while ABC saw solid numbers from its reality lineup, including the nights most-watched program among adults 18-49 Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
