The first two episodes of HBO’s seven-part John Adams miniseries got off to a a solid start on Sunday night, averaging 2.66 million viewers (peaking at 2.8 million for the second episode).
Though the figure is by no means outstanding, the good news for HBO is that John Adams improved in all measures across its two episodes:
Households – 1.4/2 to 1.5/3 (+7%)
Viewers – 2.52M to 2.80M (+280,000/+11%)
Adults 18-49 – 0.6/2 to 0.7/2 (+17%)

I wonder how it ended up? I did not care for the series and think it went down hill from a passable start. I suspect the ratings may have gone down each week. Here is my take in it:
